"Company History" Establishment and Line of Bussines

The Company was established in April 1, 1991 based on the 1991
Goverment Regulation No.22 as forestry company in Northen Sumatra.


"Bussines Region"

The Company's bussines regions covers 4 (four) province namely Aceh
Province, Nort Sumatra Province, Riau Province and West Sumatra
Province.


"CORPORATE IDENTITY"

Corporate Background

The main business of PT Inhutani IV(Persero) is the rehabilitation
of 84.900 hectares land formerly licensed under Forest Consesion
Management Rights (HPH) that was granted to PT Goodwin and
PT Barakaz in Tapanuli Selatan District. The Project runpreviously
managed by PT Inhutani II (Persero) under an appointed Project
Leader.

Following on the establishment of PT Inhutani IV (Persero), the
company issued letter No. 05/INHT-IV/002.9/10/91 dated October 1,
1991, expressed its readiness to continue PT Inhutani II (Persero)
forest rehabilitation work in Nothern Sumatra.

Ministry of Forestry has then declared the land fomerly under
PT Goodwin and PT Barakaz Forest Management Rights to be the
defenitive business region of PT Inhutani IV (Persero) according to
Ministry of Forestry letter No.2314/M-D/1991 dated October 4,1991.


"Equity Placement and Deposit"

As Stipulated in the amendment of the articles of association of
PT Inhutani IV (Persero), based on notarial deed No. 01 OF Ratih
Budiarti, S.H. Dated August 8, 2008, Equity Placement of
PT Inhutani IV (Persero) is IDR 200 billions, that was divided into
200.000 shares at a minimal value of IDR 1 million per share.

As much as IDR 92.253 billions of capital had been deposited in full
as documented in notarial deed no. 09 of Nanda Fauz Iwan, S.H.,
dated September 9, 2005, and had received the approval of the
Minister of Justice and Human Rigths No. C-26312 HT.01.04. TH.
2005 dated September 22, 2005, with the following details :

- IDR 8 billions is derived from the company's own capital as set
forth in the 1991 Goverment Regulation No.22.

- IDR 70.695 billions is palced by PT Inhutani IV (Persero) in 17
(seventeen) joint industrial forest Plantation management
companies and the rest of IDR 13.558 was allocated for the
development of self-managed industrial forest Platation
management company as set forth in the 2004 Goverment
Regulation No. 51.


"Ownership"

The Goverment of The Replubic of Indonesia owns 100% of the
company.
